Job Description

Accessibility Software Trainer

CommonLook (commonlook.com), a pioneer and world leader in developing software, training, and providing services for document accessibility, is seeking an accessibility trainer to teach users on the various CommonLook software products.

The ideal candidate for this role will be personable, professional, highly motivated, autonomous, organized, methodical, reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, creative, confident in teaching others, and excited about new opportunities in a growing technology field.

Essential Duties:

  • Present in-person and virtual training classes using a variety of different media and tools
  • Travel to our customers’ locations to train on-site (approx. 25-35% travel)
  • Assist in developing new training initiatives and improving current offerings
  • Work with the Sales team to create and present tailored demos for clients
  • Work in our Rosslyn, VA office (not remote)

Minimum Requirements for Consideration:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree or Certification in Education, Instructional Design (or similar)
  • 3-5 years (minimum) K-12, adult ed., or similar classroom teaching experience
  • 3 years (minimum) retail or similar customer service experience

Additional skills and/or expertise with the following would be beneficial:

  • HTML and/or accessibility
  • Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Adobe Acrobat, Captivate, InDesign
  • Articulate Storyline
  • CRM System or database management experience
