O201: Mastering CommonLook Office GlobalAccess for Word
Duration: 1/2 Day.
This course is intended for CommonLook Office GlobalAccess users who want to perfect their skills with CommonLook Office GlobalAccess for Word.
It is recommended that users attending this course have at least 1 month of experience with CommonLook Office GlobalAccess.
The course involves a review of accessibility standards (Section 508, HHS, WCAG 2.0 AA and PDF/UA) as well as hands-on instruction dealing with the following topics:
- Advanced Style Management
- Table of Contents
- Redesigning Complex Tables for Accessibility
- Linking Headers in Complex Tables
- Tables Spanning Multiple Pages and Other Complex Tables
- Tagging Links
- Tagging Lists
- Making MS Word Forms Accessible
In addition to the above topics, students often bring up other topics dealing with their individual experience with Word.
There will be a break for lunch and two shorter breaks during the day.
