Scripts (MS Word)

From the original (2001) U.S. Section 508 – checkpoint (l) – “When pages utilize scripting languages to display content, or to create interface elements, the information provided by the script shall be identified with functional text that can be read by assistive technology.”

CommonLook Office detects scripts in the .doc or .docx file and alerts the user if any are found.  Keep in mind, however, that scripts will not be converted to PDF.  If JavaScripts are used for form fields and elements, the code will be deployed as-is and will not be checked for correct syntax or accessibility.
