Timed Responses (MS Word)

When a timed response is required, the user shall be alerted and given sufficient time to indicate more time is required. (Section 508-2001)

Provide users enough time to read and use content. (WCAG 2.0)

CommonLook Office does not include objects requiring a timed response in the generated PDF, so no action is required to pass this checkpoint.

In general, this checkpoint is not applicable to MS Word documents. If content creators wish to provide timed response features in PDF files, they need to ensure that the chosen Acrobat JavaScript functions and techniques are accessible.  In addition, if using an external player, that player needs to be accessible as well.
